Overview
To enable the embedded Liberis solution for your business, Liberis requires data relating to your merchants. This data is made up of two key models in our world.
- Partner Clients – our definition of a specific merchant you have a relationship with.
- Revenue Claims – our definition of revenue for a partner client.
- A partner client will have a collection of revenue claims associated with them.
The integration aspect of the Liberis onboarding journey is about the sharing of partner clients and revenue claims data, enabling Liberis to run eligibility criteria for you, our partner, to understand which of your merchants you can advertise funding offers to.
The How…
The key parts of this integration are as follows:
Pre-Launch:
- Share your partner client base as it is now
- Share up to 2 years’ worth of revenue claims for each partner client
- We will run an initial eligibility check to understand how many of your merchants would be eligible for a Liberis financial product!
Go-Live:
- Share the Revenue Claim Delta for each partner client, we recommend daily
- This means, when a merchant in your world has a change in their revenue, this should be shared with us as near real time as possible as a revenue claim.
- Eligibility runs every month against the partner clients you shared and their revenue claims
- You get a selection file which describes what partner clients are eligible for a Liberis financial product and what their offer is which you can use for advertising!
We offer two integration options for sending this data, API (recommended) and CSV. These options both offer a bulk sharing of data across your merchant base.

Integrating with Liberis requires close alignment on the data. We have various validation steps to ensure that, as a partner with Liberis, we launch to your merchant base with the best possible experience– Funding Merchants While We Sleep is the core focus!

Sharing & Validation
Once the data is mapped to our models, we need to validate the process.
- API Integration (recommended)
- Our sandbox is a playground for API behaviour
- We then plan production tests against your API development
- Once complete, we align on the timeline for enablement of API data sharing in production
- CSV Integration
- Our sandbox includes a validation feature for CSV files to check format and integrity
- We then validate a small cohort of real data against our production pipelines, checking the data quality and values
- Once complete we test file sharing through SFTP servers via our automated workflow
- We can then align on a timeline for enablement of CSV data sharing
